The European Heritage School runs alongside The Library.  It seeks to engender in young Europeans the highest virtues and ideals in a spirit of respect for the unique identity and diversity of each nation combined with a sense of harmony and cooperation. Thereby fulfilling individual potential.
Our Foundation has an underlying ethos of hope and vitality for Europeans: "We aim to enrich the spirituality of the individual by fulfilling his/her potential, self-esteem, teamanship, and citizen values whilst engendering: understanding of heritage, bodily health & fitness and respect for Nature and other creatures via bonding with European heritage".

This is a threefold  educational approach based upon "SPAH" which is:
1. Spirituality: Enhance individual (& thus community/national/family life) by embodying high virtues. Bring higher sentience & spirituality to daily life by sacramentalising & cherishing all aspects.  Bonding to European heritage/landscape affords revitalisation of essential human spiritual potential.

2.  Physique: live a healthy life; respect the environment & the needs of other creatures. Hone & improve our body as a vehicle of one's self-evolution in this lifetime.  The human body regarded as a temple: a loving discipline engenders a harmonious and dynamic synergy with life. Our teaching incorporates two key concepts: homoeostasis and teleostasis.

3. Heritage- learning from & building upon the wisdom & achievements of the past and ensuring the unique character of our diverse cultures are enhanced. Having pride in one's roots & inheritance and traditions. Bringing the values of ancient heritage into daily life.

On this tripartite foundation we offer our Foundation as a beacon of hope for the planet and for future generations. Our work in particular is carried out via various activities especially: The European Library; Europa summer school; Alexandrian Scholarships; Research Projects; Student groups; Courses; Ancient sites expeditions; Teaching ancient traditions & religions, cultural diversity, architectural spirituality; Small publications; Society membership. The Foundation is run voluntarily, and is financed by gifts, donations, subscriptions, sponsorship, workshops , events, summer school.

Across the ages there have been individuals and institutions which rekindled the highest qualities of the human spirit and endeavour to revitalise the youth of their time and offer the potential for human growth and societal enhancement. The European Heritage Foundation embraces this tradition and its high human virtues yet brings another element to bind them together: appreciation of one's roots and heritage as a spiritual phenomenon to help make sense of oneself in the modern world and to understand the essential duties and potential of the individual as a representative in a long line of human evolution in relationship to his/her specific culture/nation/language and its unique character and contribution to Earth garden of sentient diversity. Thus the history of spiritual & cultural education is taken a stage further- to restore integrity and pride of place to our heritage and traditions and thus engender the 'atman' or divinity within each of us.                                                  © Stephen B.
