ETHOS OF THE FUND
The
Fund is managed and developed according to the principles and ethos laid down by our Founder Stephen B. Cox,
upon which the enture Trust is predicated.
Therefore the Fund seeks to encourage a suitable individual or individuals who not only show promise for the future but
who have demonstrated a clear empathy for the work and goals of the Trust and in their lives so far have struggled to manifest those
virtues and qualities which are the inspiration for our Trust.
Thus the Fund is a beacon of hope for those who- against the greed, selfishness and materialism of the age- have have
striven to "do the right thing" and thereby keep alive in the younger generation those higher qualities and aspirations
of sentience and spirituality which are also manifest in such things as: honour, truth, justice, diligence, consideration,
mercy, and citizenship.
A HOPE FOR THE FUTURE
The European Heritage Trust (incl. the European Library) and all its projects and initiatives is even far more than about
restoring the wisdom of the past and providing a resource to enrich the planet- it is also about the future. If we are to
have a future, not only must we have a building for The European Spiritual Heritage Centre and to house The Library at its
heart, but we must also encourage suitable young men and women to construct a hopeful future.
We must provide them
with the tools and inspiration and facilities to build that future. We must offer them hope. We must reward their efforts
when it is clear that they have demonstrated the highest virtues of their generation.
DUTIES OF THE RECIPIENT
The winner of each award is someone who will be an ambassador for his/her generation and country. He/she must remember
that he/she will also be acting as a role model for others, setting an example of standards to which the younger generation
can aspire.
The recipient will be expected to provide the Trustees with a Report each year. Futhermore, the continuation of the
university funding over three years of an Honours degree course in the U.K. will be dependent on suitable progress made and
attendance at all required studies.
The recipient is also expected to attend a small award ceremony with the Trustees, Patrons and Council of Friends of
the Trust when the Award is first made in year 1.

We are further pleased to announce that the fund was launched
on April 3rd. 2004 and now (April 8th. 2004) stands at £930 (1488 euro). All donations are welcome and gratefully received.

and young Europeans with Scholarships for study placements of between 1 month and 1 year from Britain, Ireland, Greece, Italy,
USA, Australia, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Romania. England, Denmark.
Anyone between the age of
18-25 may apply. However at present only one Award per year is offered until more donations come in. Heritage University Fund

of one aspect of our work to provide the next generation with the tools and inspiration and facilities to build the future.
The Fund encourages those who have demonstrated the highest virtues of their generation. Here we explain further the terms
