If you are interested in any aspect of The European Library or any of the subjects therein and age 18-25, then you are
invited to apply for a Scholarship: voluntary placements/free study holidays of 1 month to 1 year in England UK.
(Until such time in the far future when there is is public and private funding and adequate support to obtain and builidng
and manpower, the Library will not offer or operate scholarships or offer membership.)

The European Library Scholarships are a fantastic challenge and opportunity for young people!
A scholastic & sports & skills & career adventure of a lifetime! Plus the satisfaction of knowing you
will help a unique heritage organisation and the status of belonging to that special world club of youth making
the world a better place.
The placements (called HouseCarlships) are based around the work and projects of The European Library -
but also includes free holiday, studies, lots of sports, excursions.
Anyone age 18-25 (16-18 parental consent) from Europe compsiring: (a) The European Union; (b)
The European Economic Area (Norway & Switzerland etc); (c) the 2nd. wave applicant countries (Romania & Bulgaria);
and (d) countries of the Council of Europe can apply. You don't need specialist skills or qualifcations. What you need is:
enthusiasm, courtesy, desire to learn. It's a unique facility to travel, study, explore!
The placement also includes:
Courses, Adventure Expeditions & Camps, Sports, Outdoor Education, History & Heritage. This is a chance of a
lifetime for adventure, self improvement and travel.

if you have an interest in one or more of the following: HISTORY; SPORTS; PHILOSOPHY; MYTHOLOGY; ARCHAEOLOGY; ART &
DESIGN; FOLKLORE; LIBRARIANSHIP; PUBLISHING; HERITAGE; ANCIENT SITES; SPIRITUALITY; OUTDOORS.
And/or if you have an interest in: PHYSIQUE IMPROVEMENT; CHARACTER BUILDING; ADVENTURE CAMPS/COURSES;
SELF DEVELOPMENT; SKILLS LEARNING.
Or if you want a break before going to university; or after finishing; or you have lost you
way a bit and want to re-define and re-invent yourself.
