Reaching far into the past and stretching out towards our sentient and spiritual evolutionary  future, The European Library offers a new hope and challenge for mankind.

WISDOM & THE EPOCHS:
Evere since mankind looked up to the stars countless millennia ago, he has sought to hand on to future generations the wisdom and gifts of its own age and those of earlier ages. Sometimes prejudice, blindness, ego and irrational politics caused great losses to the fabric of human evolution and attainment. But the upward path has always continued!

You may have heard of the Great Library Alexandria (the wonder of the Graeco-Roman world), and that of Pergamon, of the legendary library of the Egyptians at Heliopolis, and the aerlier mythical library of the prehistoric Egyptians said to contain the secrets of Atlantis itself. All these treasures houses of human wisdom, attainment, discovery, skill and learning have vanished from the face of the Earth due to the perfidy and intolerance of a Dark Age of man. Later on the Medici created at Florence, in the 14th. century, the Library of the Platonic Academy and  thereby sowed another seed of hope for mankind. Now a New Age is emerging and so a new Library is needed- and has been born!.

The European Library started in 1992 to aid the beginnings of that process. It is a library  encompassing the totality of European civilisation, lore, traditions,
ancient religions, esoteric and cultural sciences within the context of its spiritual heritage. It is a library which recognises the unique charater of each European natioin. It now has over 10,000 items and is now growing by about 200 a month. Many publishers now donate to its archives.

A LIBRARY OF SPIRITUALITY:
There have been and still are countless libraries in the world- all doing a fine job. There have been many institutions dedicated to specific disciplines in universities and corporations and so on. Yet until now none has sought to do the following things combined:
a) build a library dedicated specifically to European civilisation and also
b) dedicated to the essence of spirituality that drove and sustained man across the epochs and also
c) the spiritual imperative that can be found at the heart of European civilisationn and heritage and also.
d) the essence of the lore and wisdom of the past that can guide and enrich us for solving the problems of today and the future and also
e) offer an archive that also teaches a cross disciplinary approach and cross-spiritual approach that manifests the essence of cosmic aspiration.
